Arts & Athletics
Creativity. Movement. Confidence. Community.
Where Learning Comes to Life
Engagement in the arts and physical activity is more than just fun, it's fundamental to developing resilience, emotional regulation, and executive functioning. Studies in both sports psychology and creative arts therapy show that movement and artistic expression activate brain systems linked to stress regulation, social bonding, and adaptive coping

In our school, learning doesn’t just happen at a desk, it happens on stage, on the court, on the track, and in motion. Our Integrated Arts & Athletics programming gives students opportunities to explore their creative and physical potential in ways that build confidence, social connection, and regulation, all within our neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed environment.

We weave arts and athletics into the daily lives of our students.
What’s emerging is a vibrant, joyful, and skill-building experience — and it’s only growing from here.

Integrated Arts
Expression, storytelling, and creativity...in motion and on stage.
Through our Drama and Musical Theatre Program, children engage in expressive play, character building, scripting, and performance. Whether they’re practicing lines, singing in a group, or exploring costume design, we focus on building communication, collaboration, and self-expression in a supportive, inclusive space.

Integrated Athletics
Movement that builds strength, focus, and confidence.
Our athletics programming blends physical literacy, sportsmanship, and regulation.
Students participate in:
-
House Leagues: Instructional sports including basketball, soccer, and more — adapted for all abilities
-
Track & Field: Individual and team events that foster personal bests and peer encouragement
-
Movement for Regulation: A consistent, adaptive Physical Education component that supports sensory and emotional needs through movement, stretching, and structured play.
-
Track & Field Day: This annual event is a highlight of the year — a day of joyful movement and teamwork, open to families and full of celebration.

Why It Matters
Arts and athletics aren’t “extras” in our model, they’re central to how children build identity, connect with others, and learn to move through the world with confidence.
These programs provide essential opportunities to:
-
Practice emotional regulation through rhythm, role-play, and movement.
-
Build communication skills in both structured and imaginative ways.
-
Strengthen gross and fine motor coordination.
-
Experience success in different forms — on stage, in sport, and in shared moments of joy.
