Core Clinical Classroom (Group ABA)
A full-day, therapeutic alternative to traditional school, built for children who need more.

The Core Clinical Classroom is our full-time, group-based ABA program designed as a school alternative for children who benefit from intensive, individualized support in a small group setting. We integrate evidence-based behavioural principles with a neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed approach, creating a space where children are truly seen, heard, and supported. Most importantly, we curate an environment matched to the needs of our students.

This program focuses on comprehensive skill development across all major developmental domains, including communication, social connection, emotional regulation, independence, play, and foundational academics, within a structured yet flexible environment that adapts to each child’s needs.

Who It’s For
-
Students who may not thrive in conventional school settings.
-
Students who have graduated from 1:1 intensive intervention (or never needed it) but require a bridging program to larger group learning.
-
Students who benefit from a lower student-to-staff ratio.
-
Families looking for a full-day program that supports both learning and wellbeing.
-
Children with autism, ADHD, or other neurodevelopmental differences who benefit from clinical oversight in goal attainment.

What Makes It Different
-
Small Group Learning: Low ratio environment for individualized attention.
-
Relationship-First: We prioritize connection, safety, and trust over compliance.
-
Skill Generalization: We don’t just teach skills, we make sure students can use them across contexts.
-
Whole-Child Focus: Emotional, social, cognitive, and practical skills are all woven in.
-
Embedded Co-Regulation & Coping Supports: Every child is supported with the tools they need to stay regulated and feel safe.
-
Experiential Learning: Hands-on learning-by-doing.
How We Work
Our team includes special-education teachers, behavior therapists, RBAs, and multi-disciplinary therapists who work collaboratively to set meaningful goals and support each child holistically. We value caregiver collaboration and include regular check-ins, progress updates, and family support to ensure continuity across home and community.

Let’s Build What Works for Your Child
The Core Clinical Classroom is more than just a program; it’s a space where kids can grow with dignity, joy, and a sense of belonging. If your child needs something different from the school system, we’re here to walk that path with you.

We meet the funding requirements for OAP Funded Core Clinical Service.

01/
What are the School Hours?
We run Monday-Friday 9:00-3:30 with options for before and after-care. We adopt a "classroom" model that mimics a traditional school environment without being bound by traditional school limitations.
02/
What Curriculums and Assessments are Used?
We incorporate standardized curricula and assessments, and in-house curricula and assessments. We are guided by benchmarks set by the Ontario Ministry of Education Curriculum.
03/
What about Movement & Arts?
Our students participate in a robust program that incorporate gross-motor instruction (Track & Field), sports-specific instruction (House-Leagues), and emphasis on self-regulation through movement (gym classes). Students participate in arts-based programming (drama, musical theatre and visual arts) designed to target therapeutically anchored goals.
04/
What if Students are Above or Below Grade Level?
Many of our students have uneven learning profiles and may be ahead in some subjects, and behind in others. We use a Learning Pod system to group students for core academics, and a Homeroom system to group students for all other subjects. Long story short, we've got it covered!
